Included here are some further resources for those looking to add hazelnuts to their farm crops.

A lot of work has been done over the past few decades to build up the industry, which has resulted in a lot information now being available to those in Ontario looking to grow hazelnuts.

One such resource, provided by the government of Ontario, is “Publication 863,” a production guide for growing hazelnuts. It is available through their website as a free PDF.

Other grower information for those enthusiastic about the opportunity to plant and cultivate a hazelnut orchard comes from the Grimo Nut Nursery, one of the authorities on planting hazelnuts in Ontario.
